I have a cheap Ebay/Amazon jack that works great. It has a rubber pad on top to protect the frame. I have put four sets of tires on my 2021 Fatboy using it, doing what you want to do. Order from JP, Dennes Kirk etc, and DIY.
I still take pics before, so I can check back when I install for spacer locations, speed sensor, etc.
So I dont think I need this item. Nothing sits below the frame. 🤷♂️. The oil pan is close but there is plenty of clearance. Now I just gotta figure out which lift to get.
I just bought 2 of those. I needed something a bit lower than my previous jacks after having both ends of my 2024 FLHTP lowered. Plus they wheel around much easier than my old jacks.
I've always had to run the front wheel up on to a 2x6 or similar for my wife's 2005 Deluxe to get the old jacks under it. That's why bought the second HF jack 2 days later.
I think they were $229 at my local HF. I saw guys trying to sell them on eBay for $100+ more than that.

Pretty sure you dont need anything other than the jack to lift an m8 softail. I know I just jack up my fat bob and have no issues.
I think the twin cam softails have the shock on the bottom of the swing arm and that could interfere with the jack. But the M8 ones have the shock under the seat. Just sits right one the frame rails.
