I think the twin cam softails have the shock on the bottom of the swing arm and that could interfere with the jack. But the M8 ones have the shock under the seat. Just sits right one the frame rails.

I've got a 2002 Fat Boy and 2005 Deluxe. We've never had to do anything special with the jacks. The Deluxe is a bit low so I had to run the front tire up onto a 2x6 but nothing special with the jack itself.

Thanks for all the replies. I think I’m gonna keep an eye out Harbor Freight to have the ATV lift on sale again. I’m not a huge fan of Harbor Freight but I have a bunch of their sockets and a couple of their floor jacks. Never hand any issues with the floor jacks.
