I was thinking to switch to Fly'n Ape hangers. Anyone have any pro or cons of them?

Bars are far more comfortable than stock. I can ride most of the day with no ill effects, but really haven't gone anydistance overa couple of hundred miles in a time. I'm getting ready to go on a roughly 750 mile trip thisweekend, so I'll be able to tell you more next week.......and I believe the fat bar risers are 2.5".

I love these bars! It does take some time to get used to lane splitting with them but for the most part there way more comfortable than the stockers for sure.

Demkay good to see you an the bike looks great,
doesn't it seem easier to navigate at slower speeds with a passenger, cool eh?
speaking of passengers how's your mum like the bars
I changed my footboards to the halfmoons, way more flow on the foot positions
cheers von Z

Mama's Cool. We went for walkies over the summer. Wife and kids took off to Europe to visit her family and I took off to HK, China etc etc with her. We had a blast. Great spending time with her.

She loves everything about the bike. I ask her something like........ hey, what you think about adding this and that, and she just says........ Honey, do what makes you happy. Wish the wife was that cool. Then again she doesn't really get involved with the bike as she don't really like 'em.

Anyhow, I loooove the bars. Man, this was the quote of the year to me when you first posted it at the beginning of the year..........

550 chubby's, i absolutely love them. remember those old black and white world war II movies? thats the feeling, like you're a soldier ripping through the black forest or blasting down some country road in switzerland. you know if i had to go to war at that time i would of made damn sure i enlisted in the motorcycle corps.

Demkey how do you like those wind reflectors on the forks?
hmmm, ok. Well, I as in me, I really like them 'cuz they stop my jeans crawling up my boots, and the most important thing is that they fatten up the front end, .....like big time. BUT, I got the impression that forum members weren't too impressed. lol. Think they're for the Heritage series, and go well with the windscreen, all those lights up front with the indicators hangin' off of 'em etc. Then again, people who don't have a clue like most people over here think they look great.

So I guess it's half a dozen of one and 6 of another. I like 'em, and that's really all that matters. I think they're 56 bucks from Harley.

Oh, ........ just looked properly, you're gonna have a problem with your indicators, you relocated them to the forks, that is definitely a problem, as it's not just a matter of getting longer studs, the deflectors and gonna be in the way. You may wanna check that out.

I picked up the Harley Beach Bars (56856-05) at lunch today from the Stealer. I'm going to hit another dealer that usually has parts in stock for the cables tonight. I'm going to use my stock Fatboy risers which are 2.5" tall and are for 1.25" bars. The Harley Beach Bars are 1.25" all the way through.

Anyone have any suggestions for cable length I should get? +1 +2 ?

Just ask the dealer, they will know. On the Harley site they have all the calculators for cable lenths etc. Good luck bud. Nice choice.
