Here are a couple pics of my handlebar project, these are 13"ers, I ran the wires internally and used 4" extensions, braided cables, and relocated the turn signals, the only real problemI had was busting the plastic actuator on the front brake light switch, so I had to splice in a new one, this little POS switch from HD was $28!!! Anyway, just wanted to post these pictures so someone else interested in apeswould have an idea how they lookas far as height goes, I could have gone a little taller, but these are very comfortable.
Hey, Just writin' to let ya know they look great. I've got the 12.5 X1.25 chubby's on my 05' Springer Classic. they are about shoulder height for me and with the stainless braided cables it's perfect. Good luck on future add-ons and great job on your bars. I had mine put on by my dealer but you know how it is until I get more exp. I'll let them do it and if it's wrong they fix again.
