Mega, you asked for a picture of my vision, well I found one. This is a NT on ebay right now, and it has a FB headlight. I think with the new frenched/visor trim ring it will look much better.

Yep, thats a 7 incher alright. Hmmm, makes the fork legs look real wimpy. I dunno, IMO to make it look balanced you need inverted forks in the 58mm range just to make the front end look right. All the attn. is drawn to the headlight. Like a cyclops.
I agree, black the light out, then use a ray gun that shrinks molecules. I would shrink it on setting #5 to about 33%, about a 5" diameter and BINGO! It will look awesome! LOL!
Well I picked up a FB headlight on ebay cheap. If it doesn't look right I can always change back to the stock one. That is what I love about Harley's. I'll post pictures when done.
Love to see the pics, post an update when you get it installed. Hey who knows, I have seen people use parts that I didnt think would look right, to make a real good looking scoot. So let us know!
Headlights aren't for looks, anyway. They're on there so you can see at night. The standard-housing 5" on my 'Train looks like a bicycle light and works worse. I'm hanging a 7" HID on it in a Headwinds Standard Bullet (blacked out) and it will look fine and work great...

True headlights are there for function and safety first obviously, but I think alot of people would be lying if they said it didnt matter to them if the headlight assembly was butt ugly. Anyway, as posted from above, there are lots of great bulbs and 5" reflectors that will lightup the path in front of you like you wouldnt believe. The stock bulb assembly is poor at best. I swapped out reflectors and installed a serious high output bulb to make sure I blind everybody in front of me inside 100 yards.
Well if anyone wants to buy a used headlight shell for a Fatboy let me know. I installed it tonight, and then took it off. Looked like a chrome basketball on the front of the bike.
