Default FL soft tail question

I have a new HARLEY DAVIDSON FATBOY and was wondering what FL in FLSTF stands for. I know the STF part stands for SOFT TAIL FATBOY. If anyone could tell me I would appreciate it.

The FL is thedesignator of the large style front end.
