No, I think the problem is that I have a 07 Heritage and that maybe the seat fastenings have changed. The standard seat no longer bolts on under the side flaps, but with two large bolts behind the seat. The same two bolts also hold the "bitch seat" on as well.
There is a guy on the forum that makes some little stud looking thingies that are expessly for that but I don't know who it is. Look under the Deluxe picture thread and I bet you can find it. Good luck.

Are you talking about the seat ***** that Kenny Metcalf has (http://www.x-cessories.net/)? Here's a link to his site ... I've got one of the ***** that replaces the little bolt on the back of the Bseat. It's a decent look and is reasonably priced.
I have one of the red ***** (upper right corner above and center below) that goes pretty well with my two-tone Heritage. It looks especially good if I remove the Bseat and replace it with a leather solo pad. I also like it with the seat. Adds just a touch of extra color to the back.
By the way, Marsh, who makes the luggage rack you're using?
No, that's not the ***** I'm referring to but they are neat.
The rack is a HD catalog item. You can find it in the new 08 HD cat. Ask your dealer to look at his catalog if you don't have one or go on the web site.
If you can't find it, PM me and I'll look up the number for you.

PS: I want one of the ***** but can't find pricing or ordering info.
Yogi, I just went to a local motorcycle shop and bought two acorn nuts that fit those along with two chrome washers.... prolly could have gotten someplace else but I was in there for some other things... I run a fender bib. studded. looks really nice with the acorns.
Lion, I will have a butchers next time I am at the dealers. Could you post a picture with the acorn nuts and the studded bib? Appreciate it if you could.
