That is nice. What is the color on that bike? I'm looking for a color similar that I can two tone with a cream white to paint new tins for my Deluxe that I'm making into a retro cruiser. Bet your bike turns a lot of heads.
If you want retro, youmight consider the first year Heritage Classic - 1986. I realize it's all personal taste but I love it, myself.
Here's mine. The factory HD colors are called Signal Red and Creme. (Correct spelling I believe.) The tank decal was standard issue from about 1986-1988 and I believe you can still get them. The larger stripe around the tank is dark maroon.

That's the look. Except I want to have the fenders two tone with cream color on the bottom, red on the top. A kind of dark red almost maroon metalflake with a gold pinstripe separating the two. And a two into one retro looking exhaust. Thanks for the pics.

Yeah, I hear ya. They didn't two-tone the fenders that first year but that wouldn't stop a guy from doing it. The Signal Red isn't metallic either. You'll find a great color.
I will tell you this; I can't take it anywhere withoutdrawing a crowd and getting thumbs up.
I'll bet Volkdeluxe gets the same.
Volkdeluxe, is your paint factory custom, or did you have it painted?
Volkdeluxe, your bike and pic is about the best "retro" look I've seen. It's just stunning. It's a great shot for anyone thinking about a retro look.
Please forgive, but I took the green vegetationreflections out of your chrome. Just to my eye they didn't seem to go with the blue. Also cropped some extra from the bottom.Just seemed worth it to me. Here ya go - it's your call of course whether you like it.
I posted some pictures of my Heritage on the picture forum and thought I would share with a more general forum. I just had WWW put on, a Ness lowering kit and chrome forks. Also one of our forum guys gave me a good deal on some stainles steel polished spoke wheels and I added some polished rotors and a few other chrome touches. The bike has Fat Boy bars.

That picture looks a lot better, I'll have to change that over in my profile when I get a chance.
