I bought that back rest. It seems to be good quality. The only problem is that I was told it would work with the 2006 Softails with the 200 tire. The predrilled holes in the bracket didn't line up with the fender holes. So I had tocutthe holes in thebracket that goes under the seat to line up with those in the fender. I ended up never even using it since I recently traded the softail.
It's sitting in the closet unused if anyone wants to make an offer....
back to the back rest.... spam or not, it is a cool small hidden mount back rest. Gives my GF a sense of security with it there. It fit my '99 just by drilling one hole. You have to buy the pad also. Good quality.
