Does anyone know why HD keeps pushing back the delivery date for the Rocker? I was told Sept 9th then Oct. and now sometime in Nov. (WTF)

As soon as The MOCO can figure out how to keep the rear laminated fender from de-laminating when they bake the paint, you'll see some deliveries

 

By the time they figure it out the model year will be almost over. Might as well wait for the 09's to come out and get a deal on the 08's

 

I still hold a delivery position, but bought a Night Train to build a Bobber out of while I'm waiting. May sell either one of them.

 

I talked to my dealer yesterday and he said the computer shows my Rocker C being loaded today with an estimated delivery of Oct 9. Not going to bet the farm on that, but it beats waiting until November to hear something. Could be riding by next weekend if the bike arrives on schedule.

 

Looks like what the computer says doesn't mean anything. I went by the dealer today and no Rocker. I was originally told Sept 23, then November sometime, then I got the call that it would be in on Oct 10, according to the computer. So anyway we are back to waiting and they are still saying shipments will begin in November. At least it will still be warm enough to ride here in sunny Florida.

 

Just left the shop in lakeland,they told me January!

 

my rockers ship date is nov. 9th

 

They prob have lost the container shipment of parts from China and cant finish putting them together lol

It's my understanding that the swingarms welds were breaking, and they had to redo all of them. Heard about this at the York Plant Open House a couple of weeks ago.

Not sure if that is the specific reason or not. Take it for what it's worth.
