I lowered my badboy 2", and depending on how big you are you may have issues with it "bottoming" out, as I did, so I raised it up a 1/2". It now rides smoothly and still looks good.

I called HD and they still didn't receive the kit to lower the bike, but once the job is done I'll send out pics.

In the mean time if you have more pics to send please do so.

Thanks

What's up Fellas!!!

Here is the deal, I have already ordered the progressive lowering kit through my local HD dealer for the rear and next week I'm taking the bike in to be lowered. It's something I always wanted to do, and now is the right time.

Here is what I need from you.....I'm not sure how much to lower. I hear that 2" is too much and 1" is enough to make a difference. I don't see how one inch is going to make much of a difference. HD also recommends one inch.

Can you please reply with any info you might have on the subject!!!

I would also love to see some pics if possible.

Thanks
Be ready to buy a newset of floor boards every year.

My Fatboy drags the boards frequently with the stock ride height, let alone a lowered Fatboy....

Forgive my ignorance but are we talking about just lowering the rear end and not the front?

I cant understand how stiffening up the rear and not doing the same to the front would not compromise the handling.

I can take a stiffer suspension, but for me it still has to turn.

I have a White Bros 2 inch adjustable kit. It is set at about 1 1/2 inches maybe a hair more. I think it rides fine. I can bottom out with a passenger though....not that I care becauseit looks good and that's all that matters.
