I got a Harley to stop me from riding too fast and popping wheelies off every set of lights... Don't think I have gone over 140km an hour on mine.... where as I saw my speedo on my Hayabusa almost bend the needle at 340km/h a couple of years back racing some dude on a Ninja who I left WAY behind I'm too old for that sh*t now me thinks! I prefer cruisin'!

More than my guardian angel can keep up with.
I've seen triple-digits a few times with the bike still pulling. Plenty fast enough for me, don't need to know the answer to your question. Will be watching the thread though, I'm sure someone has a faster angel.
well i know this doesn't purtain directly to ur ? about an 08. but i had an 03 anni low rider that i had up too 110 and i still had more to twist. but with no shield and a lepera bare bones i had to keep my right foot under the brake just to hang on. the wind was incredible. but after about 3 miles of that i was ready for a sippy and a nap.

Man, I thought I was the only one on here that preferred the slower ride..... reading these replies are cracking me up! Thanks guys for the smiles and for almost getting me snagged at work reading the forum! Hee hee.
gunner, looks like they changed the paint in that graphic stripe on the tank, got a closeup of it? also what air filter cover is on there?
The air filter cover is the HD Smooth air cleaner cover P/N 29153-07. I have the matching smooth horn cover on the other side, P/N 68189-07. Also the chrome air cleaner backplate, P/N 29510-05. I had the back plate put on when the stage1 was done prior to pickingup the bike. I knew I was going to get rid of the football ASAP.I'll try to get a closer picture of the tank. At work right now, so a little tough to get it. Cheers
forgot to say that when i got all my ignition and pipe for this one i shot it up to 100. i haven't had it over that. not really interested in either. the brakes on these things aren't ment to stop u. to many poeple die doing stupid things. at the most i will take off from a light till i come to 3rd gear, then i'll back down. not worth my life or the lives of others. cruising is why i didn't buy a crotch rocket. but i do love to light the back tire up once in while.
