Well traded off my 05 WG for this nice red Fatboy.. My new project..I love the color and the 200 tire in the rear. I did a few things to start like the bars and seat, plus some flamed goodies. I'm waiting on the braided brake and clutch cables to finish off the bars. This winter I'll decide on exaust and probably will black out the front end, except for the head light and top of the tree's.
What bar is that? Got a straight side shot of your bike?
Thanks for the compliments.. They are Carlini clean sweep 1.25" with a 9" rise. Puts me at a nice riding position. I'm 5'9". Here's a side shot, best I got for now..
Cool lookin'!! I did something similar wth my softail on the handlebar.
I put 9.5 1 1/4 inch diameterpullback risers on it with a HD Drag Bar.
I put in a bar snake to help with the vibration(ha ha) but I think that the bar snake actually made it worse.....
...nice ride...I've got an 08 Fatboy on order and want to change out the stock seat. What kind have you put on...is it lower than the stock seat?
Thanks again everyone for the comments. I'm looking forward to tweeking this one to my liking.
Fboy, The seat is a saddleman tattoo profiler. Its pretty darn comfortable for me. It has gel in the drivers area. Its not made for a passenger, just looks in that area. They do make a solo version as well. I wanted to cover all the holes in the fender. Check out C&C seats as well they are bit more expenseive, but you can customize it to your liking. I had this seat on my other bike and it held up pretty well.
