Default Dyno #'s for my 07 Nightrain

Had my 07 Nightrain dynoed on Friday.
Here is my set up: V&H Big Radius with Thunder Monster Baffles, Arlen Ness big sucker intake, PCIII with map from FuelMoto
71.22 HP 82.36lbs of torque
This is good. HP increased while torque stayed around the same as stock. From what I read a stock bike is around 67hp with 82lbs of torque. This proves to me that the ThunderMonster baffles work in creating the back pressure so you dont lose torque. My bike was a hair rich, which is where I want it. The guy dynoing the bike agreed because its a hair, not alot. Better to be alittle rich than too lean.

I am now considering getting the dealer to bore my jugs to 103" and installing a set of cams. Im having them do the work because they told me they will honor the warranty if something happens.
The dealer has a sale on the Stage I 103" kit for $1300 installed. He told me "What are you going to do with your stock jugs?" I said nothing. He said it would be cheaper for me to just have them get my stock jugs bored, and then suggested getting cams done at the same time to save on labor.
I dont want to mess with the ridability and reliability of the bike, so Im gonna look into it alittle more befor I decide to do it.

I installed a HQ big bore kit on my bike last April, and I just dont think that having the dealer do the job soley because of warrenty isnt all its cracked up to be.

If there was a way to F this job up I would have done it!

It went like butter! I feel a quality kit from any of the guys you hear about on the boards would be better than SE/dealer stuff.

But do your homework and look around, and dont be afraid to call and ask some questions, even stupid ones, thats how you learn about your bike.
And if you hear somthing that your not sure about, get a second opinion.

I had the S.E. 103" and S.E. 204 cams installed when I bought my bike (07' Train) and have been very satisfied. I think it's a good move. Good Luck

I would like to hear from someone that rode their bike before and after and know how big of a differance there was. Im 250lbs and want alot of low end. I like to feel the bike pull hard through the gears.

When I had mine dyno tuned, V & H BSS, Ness big sucker, sert, I was 88 or 89 on both sides. BTW it was only a 4 hp and 4 tq gain from stock.

This is where I read about the stock dyno #'s
http://www.latus-harley-davidson.com...egory-view.asp
Im sure if I had it fine tuned I could have gotten some more HP out of it. What Im really looking for is torque. I want it to really pull through the gears. Also I was concerned about losing torque with the TM baffles. I didnt really lose anything. Trust me...I wasnt bragging about my dyno numbers. If I wanted a fast bike I wouldnt have bought a Harley.

I find it hard to believe that theres that big of a differance just because of type of pipes and a SERT on a identical bike. You should post your numbers over on that site I linked. You will be a first with numbers that good. The numbers over there are not even close to yours. Your making as much HP as a guy over there that has the 103 kit with 255 cams. hmmmmmmm I think your numbers would be really questioned over there. I would have to see a bike make those numbers in person. Im gonna raise the BS flag on this one. If your trying to say your bike bone stock made 84-85 HP......Your full of sh*t
