Well, After IM with a member about 4" risers on a Heritage I went to my local Harley dealer looking for risers!
I've had good advice from these folks before and simply asked if they had a Heritage with 4" risers. Nope. But they took me to a guy in back. He asked why I wanted risers and sized me up. After the explaination he left and came back with 2.5 inch pull backs. Said "put these on. You'll love 'em". Well, I spent the bucks and put them on. Took about 1/2 hour to find the tools and 1/2 hour to put them on! Thank God I have a tv in the garage to entertain my mind while I looked for tools!
Well, I haven't ridden yet but they feel GREAT! Even sitting in the garage I can feel the difference! I really look forward to tomorrow when I can give them a go! I'm 5'8" and can ride short distances stock just great! If I go longer distances then I had to lower the hadle bars and adjust the clutch and brake to feel better. I hope now to find a happy medium where short and long distances feel great!
Got to ride today and YES I Love the new risers! I did have to adjust the handle bars a bit since I did not get the risers exactly straight on the first try! If you have short arms or are tired of stretching on long rides, I highly recommend!
