Heritage Springer Mudflap

Finally found a mudflap (with red piping) for my 1998 Heritage Springer. Unfortunately, it came without instructions. Not sure how to mount it. Anyone have a copy they could send me.

hi, no printed instructions... but my mudflap is held by 3 screws & nuts evenly spaced.

dude i just put one on my flstc, i have the template and instrutions but they were wrong so i had to modify, Let me know if you need them

You will have to drill holes in your fender to mount the mudflap. The fenders are very light weight metal, so put some masking tape over where you plan to drill. This will keep the drill bit from walking around and it will also keep any paint flaking to a bare minimum. Don't lean into the drill at all, just let it eat away by itself. To match the bolts with the paint job, I bought some touch up from the dealer and pre-painted them before putting them on the fender. It blends pretty well and looks clean.
