I've tried and liked the brightness of the Sylvania SilverStar products, but they burned out very fast (~4-6 months max.). I recently switched to PIAA PowerSport H4 bulbs (PIAA p/n 70456). A tad bit better brightness and they are supposed to last longer. I can't speak to their longevity yet as I haven't had them long enough....but I'm hopeful. Look for Xtreme White Plus. Notice the "anti-vibration".

Xtreme White Plus have either a max life of 150 hrs or for a brighter more higher wattage at 50 hrs. The aforementioned numbers came from their own web site. HID and be done with it. 1/2 the watage, 3X the light & 2000 hrs / bulb average.
