I`d go for the whole package .................. just my .02 ( or do it yourself and save the labor charge and buy more chrome ) [sm=smiley20.gif]
Either way it will look outstanding ! Bling / Bling !
My entire front end is chrome, forks covers ect. If you are going to do it make it match , the stainless or powercoated silver really stands out as you add more chrome and IMHO makes the project look unfinished.
If I was going to do it over , Iwould black out my forks (black sliders ect) I like that look alot
it will look unfinished and annoy the crap out of you without the uppers.I would seriously think about the hand levers as well if you haven't already got them chromed. AND once you do all this there will be plenty of members to offer you tips on spending more of your hard earned . grzly
I recently bought the sliders. I had to buy the chrome dust covers, chrome axle covers, chrome wheel spacers, chrome drain plug, and seals/fork oil. All of that came in the kit with the exception of the oil/seals. I did find a deal on the sliders and the parts out of Zanotti shipped still saved me a bunch of cash to spend on something else. There are some nice packages that are new this year.
When you say new packages what are you referring to?
But it does look like I am leaning towards the kit.. My dealer said he would give me $22% off the parts
