Got a buddy who has the opportunity to buy a 93 or 94 Fatboy with about 15,000 miles on it for $6000. The bike is his uncle's nephew's bike and is in excellent condition. I told him it sounded like a really good deal to me (yes/no?)?
Also, does the 93/94 Fatboy have the balanced motor?
That is an awesome price. I looked in a history of HARLEY DAVIDSON book and the FATBOY didn't get the balanced motor until 2000. It is still an awesome bike, I wouldn't pass it up.
Next Friday at 12:00 pm myself and two buddies willbe driving from Arkansas up to Maryland, picking up the bike and driving/riding it back down to Arkansas on Sunday. We figure on rotating between the car,the bike and sleep at everygas stop depending on temps and the weather.
Weather permitting it should be a fun road trip and a good way to get to know the Fatboy.
