Anybody runnin' any or know of any one runnin'Ultima products?
They are "mostly" made in America, I understand.
Gettin' kinda tired of my evo, and gonna save up for 113-127.
I'm sure it would be a hell of a rush to go from an 80 to a 120 inch in a couple of days. Wheeeee hawwww!!
Getta blow most of the twinkies away in the process, maybe even a crotch rocket or 2?
A bud says he can do wheelies in the first 3 gears if he wants to, hmmmmm.
Get the whole works includin' a 6 speed tranny, plus a belt drive for $6k.
I'm thinkin' that's a pretty darn good deal!!
My buddy has a 113" Ultima on his Custom built bike. It hauls ***. It's only been one riding season, but no problems yet.
Somethings to consider...
Bigger motors make more heat. Not sure on this, but maybe not a good motor to have stuck on a slow speed cruise. I could be wrong though.
Bigger motors make more vibration. More s#it comes loose. This I know because my buddy has lost a few things off of his bike including a mirror. Definitely invest in Loctite.
Lastly, for 1/2 the dough, why not punch out your EVO?
Candy Azz has a good point. Would be cheaper to go to a 96" and that would be one hell of an upgrade.
I have a 113" Ultima in my bike and the vibration is less than what my old motor was. Make's it a treat to hit the highway at 70 to 80 mph and not end up with numb feet and the power is awesome!!!!
Good luck with whatever decision you go with.
Diddo on the Ultima 113 ci. Just finished installing whole drivetrain package, 113 ci, Ultima 6 speed, Ultima w/ barnett clutch 8 mm open drive. Hauls ***. Literally. You will be a verry happy man!!
