PS: What ya puttin' on next?

ORIGINAL: Texas Fat Boy

I did a make-over on my Fat Boy.

After installing my new rear wheel to match the front, I decided I didn’t like my Hard Saddlebags covering up that wheel so, I took off the Hard HD bags and went with Leather Pros LP 3200 detachable bags.

Then while I had in the shop I always wanted some handle bars with more pullback than my HD Mini Apes so I went with Buffalo 12 ½” Apes.
I actually told the Parts guy Wild Ones 502, but he ordered the Buffalo’s and had them on before I knew it. I let it slide. I’m too nice a guy, I know.
The Buffalo’s are a cheaper price, but with the same quality, but I believe the angle is a little different on the wrists than the Wild Ones.
Oh well. Whoa is me.
Of course I had to change the risers to 1” to match the new bars. But this let me have that Flame riser I always wanted.

Then while I had all this stuff on order I ran across this HD paint set on eBay from a dealership in CT, “The Beast”. It’s number 79 of 200 Limited Edition sets. I tried to buy it last spring but my dealer said it was sold out. Well eBay saved me over $1,500 on this, YEA !!!

Then I wasn’t satisfied with the HD Mustache Bar, so I had them put on the Mark III’s.

Then while I was having handle bars put on, I went with the HD Nostalgic Hand Grips.

I also added the Turn Signal Visors to match my Headlight visor.

And what the h3ll, I had them install the garage door opener that runs off the headlight switch.

SOMEBODY STOP ME PLEEEEEESE !!!!!!!!

Now I need chrome switch housings and chrome fork lowers.
Damn the insanity. SERINITY NOW !!!SERINITY NOW!!!

Yeffro: Thanks, I can’t believe the difference either.

Tuna Man: Thanks

D Mac: Thanks, yea I know I ain’t finished, but damn I’m about outta money. LOL
Next up is “Floor Board Extenders” I ordered them Monday from Harley Goodies. http://www.harleygoodies.com/
On the wish list after that is, chrome switch housings and chrome fork lowers. But I’m not loosing sleep thinking about those two, just a wish.
...and I'm still looking for that perfect AC cover.

What I like is the fact that you have gotten the convieience of the bags with out it really looking like a bagger. Not that there is anything wrong with baggers. It's neat, clean and very tastily done. I even like the trimmed windsheild and I am the guy that doesn't like windshields.

Rich Mac: Thanks, the hard bags was kind of a love/hate relationship. Somedays I liked them, then other days I didn't. Some angles they looked good, some angles they didn't. But they were always there, now I can have it both ways, on or off. I really like the style (angled back) of these Leather Pros bags. Thanks for the info on your bags, it helped me decide what to do.

Marsh: Thanks for those kind words. I'm trying to be neat, clean andtasteful.
FYI that isn't a cut down windshield.
It's a Memhis Shades "El Paso" sport shield. It does mount just like the Harley shields do though.
