How easy is it to put these bars on a Heritage Classic. My local shop reckons 6 hrs work. If I can avoid paying out shed loads of cash for this and doing it myself I will. I have put on easy stuff like passenger footboards and engine bars etc, bit never tackled a job like this.
It's not hard and I have done a fair few handlebar changes.
However only you know your mechanical abilities and will have to make that decision.
First thing is buy a manual.
I have seen some people on here claim they can install car stereo & alarm systems and wire them in completley and setup web pages but couldn't do a handlebar change.

Installed wild 1's two weeks ago 6 to eight hours is correct. I had trouble getting the wires with the factory shrink wrap had to remove it and then it was better tank must also be removed. A service manual is a must.
Yep, a manual is a must. Scotty3 is helping me right now on how to remove the pins from the Molex connectors. I'm just taking my time since this is my winter project. It's really great to work on this stuff. get's you a little more intimate with your scoot.....
