Has anyone converted/modified their stock front signals to ones with pilot light.
I from Singapore and currently own the export model that does not comes with it. You guys whom own the domestic models are lucky to have it as a standard feature.
If you mean the running lights that are part of the turn signals I'm sorry to tell you that you can't easily convert yours over.
However you can just get a set of the domestic turn signals off e-bay or order them from Harley and wire them in yourself. If your lucky you already have the right plugs in the bike and they just don't use all the plug parts for yours.
If your bike does have it,it could bea simple plug and play install.
The part number your coung to need is PN=68972-00 for the one we have.
The ones on your bike are PN=68975-00
Good Luck and ride safe.
PS, Looking at the parts manual it doesn't show a different plug on the end of the wire for overseas or export models so maybe you'll get lucky and it will be a plug and play install.
Yes there are three wires in the domestic turn signals. But odds are that they used the same plug on your bike. They just don't use the third pin. With a bit of luck yours has the circuit in the plug and its just your signals that don't have the wire in it.
You'll have to find it under the gas tank to see and check if its a live circuit when the switch on the dash is in the run position.
If the wire is there but there is no power it may be that you just need to install the right fuse.
