Just thinkin........... The only thing that might make me consider trading my '07 Heritage would be ABS. Anybody have an opinion regarding the possibility of retro-fitting ABS?
No one offers ABS retrofit kits for any bike as far as I know, and would probably cost a small fortune to fit if one did exist. I'm hoping H-D makes ABS an option for more bikes next year.
I hear ya. After owning an ABS equipped BMW, I know it works. It may take a few more years, but ABS will probably make its way to the Softails. Its a great option for big, heavy bikes. I think some insurance companies give discounts for ABS equipped bikes?
Unless you are a racer or off-road rider there is no drawback to ABS except that it makes you feel a little too confident in wet or icy conditions and you ride faster than you should.
