I sell Rush mufflers, and never had a problem with their stuff or the company, actually they are probably the easiest company to deal with. Lots of other companies have this kind of policy and as I read it,it protects the good dealers.

Lmao. protects the dealers that charge more money !!! cyclespot is a great Company... Yet,they get poked by rush. what am i missing ? PRICE FIXED.... Now i get it. LOL .

...if I didn't buy it from a Harley dealer he couldn't honer the warranty. He said they had an agreement with Harley to sell their pipes at Harley dealerships...
I tried to buy mine from the local dealer and they said they don't carry rush. Bought the 1.75 slash downs from fuelmoto for my 07 Heritage and they sound great.
All three of the dealers around me carry them for $269.00. I got mine from cyclespot for $203.00 + shipping. What can I say, that's what the guy at Rush told me on the phone.

OK. here is the scoop. cyclespot says hang in there.. it was not rush that put the heat on them, it was a middle man come to find out and he had no right to do this.... This is not rumors,i talked to the owner of Cyclespot. So,things in limbo for a short time... Cyclespot says the Rush people are very good people and the product is 100% AMERICAN made. So, seems it was and is a complex story. Some of this story stems from some E-bayers doing people wrong with rush pipes. So,this is from the horses mouth . Cyclespot says gives things about a week or 2.....

Hmmmm, plenty ways around that. Like.......... "call for price". You can sell them for what you like, you just can't advertise them under mrsp in print.

Big discussion over on the cyclespot forums on it.

But the boss posted an hour ago an apology to Rush and said it wasn't Rush's fault; and blames it on an employee.

Something tells me Cyclespot's boss just got a letter.

Anyhow, if anyone's interested. Link...... http://www.cyclespot.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12258

I love my Rush slip-ons. They sound better than a full blown system imho. I came to that conclusion about a week ago when I heard 2 other popular systems on newish softails.

I do not understand your statement.Rush is in no way saying what anyone has to sell their products for. Cyclespot orany other dealerhas the freedom to set whichever price they choose whether it is $400.00 or $4.00. Price fixing is when a manufacture or number or retailers agree to sell at the same price, which clearly is not the case here. DEALERS HAVE THE FREEDOM TO SELL AT ANY PRICE, WHY ARE YOU WHINING!

Sorry man, you wrong. A maker of a product can sell to who they want....Take Harley, can you buy Harley shirts ot other Harley goods at target, etc ?? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!! DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA........... i rest my case , next ?

Go to gatlinburg and ask one of the airbrushers even to put Harley davidson on a shirt, They will not do it... See the point yet ?

However this is not the case with cyclespot selling rush pipes,if you had read my previous post .

Oh and lets run down to the Honda dealer and buy a harley half price.. Yep, big sale. LOLO ... [:'(]

i know the bike will probably run a little leaner on a stock ecu with no remap but with the 1.75 baffles i should be ok for a little whie until i decide on which upgrade to go for
