any one running a oil pressure guage on their bike,, if so what kind and is it reliable. want to install one but have heard bad stories of theharley one thanks...kerry
I have the HD oil pressure gauge kit. So far no trouble. Iam using abraided line instead of the black plastic line that's in HD's kit. http://www.dragspecialties.com/fatbook/7/253/3897757
I have read several complaints about the gauge in the HD kit. So far, no problems for me. Some have went with the autometer gauge http://www.dragspecialties.com/fatbook/7/253/3897681 If you have the baisley spring the 100# gauge would be a better option.
I've got the Arlen Ness Rocker Box mounted guage kit. I've got my bike all torn apart right now so I haven't "ran" it yet. Hope it works as good as it looks.
Just a note.... I have ridden my scoot with the guage all mounted up, just not plumbed up. The rocker box mounted type didn't get in my way or bother ME while riding. Just know though that the thing gets as hot as everything else does if you do touch it.
thanks for the advice guys, the arlen ness kit is what i was leaning towards, like the one yeffro has. i have found a good looking kit fron jerzeecustoms.com thank is priced right if it is any good. has anyone ever seen or heard of this co. maybe for the price i will try one anyway. 102.00 bones. thanks ..........kerry
