If your looking for bags, may I make the suggestion of going with an after market bag. HD bags for the softail line are rather small for the price you are paying. I have Iron Bags www.ironbags.com and the rock. I have also had Boss Bags and they are a great bag too, but I like the Iron Bags better myself. For the same price as the HD bags ($850.00) You can get a really nice set of after market bags. And here is a pic that Texas Fat Boy was talking about with my bars. I have Cubbies 504 bars with HD black nastolgic grips, black levers and black mirror.

And here is one of my air cleaner just because

Congratulations dude!! It's about time

Hey was I right about those turn signals fitting? I reckon they should have!

Also, my engine won't start in gear if the side stand is down.... it will start in NEUTRAL with sidestand down which it is supposed to...

Stay await from the catalogues, it damages the bank account!!

Congrats on the new FB.

I love mine.

Clunks when I shift, and I ALWAYS check the side stand before pulling away. Sometimes I check it twice. (Had a bad experience a long time ago)

Good luck and enjoy!!

Unless the exports are wired differently than the domestic models, the jiffy stand has nothing to do with starting the engine. you can start the engine in gear if the clutch is pulled.

Default RE: kara gets his fatboy (update)

since the time of purchase i have added a few accessories to the bike..

floorboard inserts & passengers chrome footrests
chrome spark plug leads (thanks cheapharleyparts.com.au)
rush 1.75 slash cut mufflers
chrome bolt covers (boy do they add a nice finish to the bike)

and most importantly...
S.E.R.T and
Screamin eagle air cleaner

I was having chronic popping on deceleration prior to the SERT/air cleaner upgrade and now thisis almost gone
the bike also now runs 100% better IMO & much cooler

I cannot believe the difference the race tuner/air cleaner has made, i am sure hd intended all bikes to operate like this but for EPA regulations

on a side note, this aussie spend his vacation in waikiki, hawaii...boy did i miss my bike looking at how many hd's there were over there.
in fact, 90% of bikes were hd's..what a pleasant surprise!
