No problems with mine what so ever. I'm also 6'3" and it made the riding position much more comfortable.
I put Ness extensions on my night train. I'm 6 foot, they were not too much for me, I might have liked a little more. Be advised, get the right torx wrench for the screws holding the factory foot pegs on. They are on so tight its dangerous, you may break a torx wrench, and being that they are hardened, the break is razor sharp. You could impale yourself. Maybe a little heat would help. The Ness kit is complete and excellet. You may have a small bracket left over. Ernie-Seattle
I put the Ness extensions on and love them. I'm 6' and if anything I could have used another inch or so. I removed the floorboards and installed forwards at the same time. Very comfortable setup for me! Very easy to install. You got a good price too. I paid 170 for mine.
do you guys find with these kits.. the pegs still feel soild? the last set that i put on they felt kinda springie..if i pushed on them i could make them flex. they were 4in longer then stock but man it fit so much better. no cramps in my hips. and after demo ride my bike will not leave the shop with out something done with the lower controls.
There's no flexing. I'd say they are 1/4 inch thick billet aluminum plates. They bolt to the bikes control location on the frame with three bolts each. The controls bolt to the mounted extensions with 3 bolts each. It's solid.

good solid feel - I am 6' 4" and sliding the controls out that extra 3" really helps with the feel... and as was stated earlier, great price I think I paid about 180 at the local HD Stealer.
