Hey Captain, could you help me with the below (this is a paste from another post of mine)?
For the inverted forks, I would appreciate the measurement from the centre of the axle to the centre of the fender mount bolts and the distance between the inner forks where the fender mounts. As well, the measurement from under the top triple tree to the axle centre...thanks, really appreciate it!!!
I'll help you out with that.....
Top of top tree to axle center is 33 1/8"
center of axle to center of fender mounting is 8 3/4"
width from fender mounting lug to lug is between 6 15/16" and 7"
(actual measurement was 6 15/16" but I'm sure there is a marginal difference depending on wheels and spacers used)
Oh, and by using a straight edge against the frame neck and fork tubes, I can't find any additional rake. The trees flat upper surfaces are 90 degrees from the neck and the tubes are as well.
Thanks alot Mojo..can I get one more? From the centre of the axle to the bottom of the top tree. I believe the trees are thicker on the inverted so the bottom of the top tree gives me a better point of reference..thanks again!
OH! and btw, awesome looking ride! What kind of headlight is that? I'll be needing a headlight once I get my inverted fronit end. I had the HD one on my old deuce, it was very nice but I know there are some other really nice ones out there, Headwinds comes to mind but BIG $$$$$.

OK from bottom of top tree to axle center is 31 5/16"
just for reference the trees are different thicknesses
top tree is 1 3/4" thick and bottom is 1 15/16"

It's an inexpensive 5 3/4 visored rocket from an unknown manufacturer (ebay!) It has a couple of chroming flaws that look like a hair was in the chrome
I'm replacing it this week with a Headwinds 5 3/4 Bradley rocket.
hey mark forgot bout this thread, i see what your saying though. i'm just gonna add some rake to mine, with a hawg halters triple tree. so i dont have to worry bout that damn offset if this works out for you though, and i hope it does, might do what i wanted to do in the 1st place. good luck bro
is 'width from fender mounting lug to lug is between 6 15/16" and 7"
' from the inside to inside (i.e. the fender is ~7" wide at the mounting point)?
I am having trouble finding a fender that width, seems most are 6.25" and less. I am trying to find an aftermarket fender that will fit that front end. I am planning a 21 X 120 front tire.
I'm using the stock FXST fender and the width is 7" inside to inside of the mounting lugs. I didn't use any spacers and there were no fitment probs with the stock fender. I'm using a Metzeler 21 x 80/90 tire. To use an aftermarket fender you may have to fabricate spacers.
