Just curious, why did you want to make the change? Was it the ABS availablity or the touring aspects of the bike? Do you plan to go with stock handlebars? Good luck and happy hollid.........er Merry Christmas!!!

Yea, I also made the change froma Deluxe to a bagger. I bought this Street Glide the day after Thanksgiving.

I have two bagger's and two Springer's. I never ride the baggers, so I will sell them this next spring and pick up at least one other Softail. I love riding the Softails. I prefer a 700 mile day on the Springer vs. the Ultra or Road King. I predict you will eventually return to a Softail. Here's why: you'll rediscover what you loved about riding before you mentally became an old fart. Enjoy the scoot. Nothing quite like a brand new bike.
