I have a HSC and need a better riding position. I bought the WO508s that feel great but you have to internally wire them which I do not have the technical ability to do at the moment. The dealer wants a shed load of cash to fit them as well. As a stop gap I have put fatboy bars on with 4.5 pullback risser, but I think it look ugly as the bars look likie they just sit on top of the risers.
Are there any bars out there that would give me a similar riding position that I can externally wire? Any help would be appreciated.
Why couldn't you run the wires externaly with the W508's? Just use a couple of zip ties to hold them in place. just brcause they are 1 1/4" bars and most everyone that has them wires them internaly, doesn't mean that you can't. Good luck with the project.
Can't do it as there are no dimples in the bottom to take the wires externally which means the switch housing will not close. I wanted to do it externally at first to see if I liked it, but am kind of stuck now.
