the cheap alternative may be good it you dont want to loose the original seat.

I have read that the wide mustang can cause probles as the nose is very wide

Mustang fits like a glove. They make an excellent seat that is much better than the stock seat. Attention to detail is excellent.

The Mustang rider backrest is the best I've seen. It not only adjusts up and down, plus forward and back,
it does so with out removing the seat. Another HUGE plus is, it comes right out. So you can throw it in the saddlebag or whatever (leave it home?)
So far, I am very pleased with this Mustang.
I did order the smaller passenger section.
