Infact, since your bike is black, I'd black powdercoat some apes cause it looks great with black bikes and chrome controls. Check my sig. I had all kinds of different bars, drags, stock, then apes. Apes are so much more comfortable and let me ride the furthest.

I think you arms hang, thus you have no tension in your shoulders or neck to hold you hard forward. I guess I can't explain it, but if you kow someone who has apes, try their bike. Give it a good 10 - 15 miles, you'll be sold (provided they are not like 20" apes!) Keep it shoulder height or below.
