Hi sarg67, carry out a simple test, go out on bike n get motor to op temp. Return to start n try again, if it goes up hill ok then your bike is too weak on startup.
Was just wondering if anyone else had this prob.only have 400 miles on bike , i have a steep driveway and when im going up it the bike bogs down if i try giving it more gas it stalls. i tried speeding up and taking it in 2nd but its to steep and again i have to go to 1st and it bogs again, do i need to let it warm up more ? or is something more wrong?
sounds like you eather move or get rid of the bike Harleys have plenty toruqe to go up a hill you must live on the side of a cliff
No probs sarg67, If you can get up the drive with a hot motor you can tell the dealer about the the problem with authority, motor is running too weak! I was fed up with my bike and cured all my own probs with a ness bigshot plug in fuel pack.
