I really want those flush mounts but i've heard with the stretch tank they don't always get completely flush. Not sure i want to risk $200 to find out that it's true.

sweet ride
i want some flush mount also...
The notes on the flush gas tank pieces say that they will not fit the Deuce tanks. That's because they are stretched and have a slightly different contour.
However a couple of guys, think it was Live2ride and another guy. Found that if you use something like a hair drier on the plastic trim ring to heat it up a little. It willsoften it enough soyou can reform them to fit perfectly.
They looked very nice once they were fitted properly.

a heat gun works better, but a hair dryer will do if you have nothing else...
Yea, those things realy do look good. My wife gave me those things for Christmas last year and so far they have held up really good. But I did notice one thing different, in the pictures that niczumbo provided us, your's has a gas pump lit in the middle, mine does not.
I like those myself
but I had trouble in the Harley shop getting the damn thing to pop up.
I guess me and the parts guy didn't know the secret because nobody else has ever said that.

I added those to my bike. They look great!
Opening and closing is all in the wrist...LOL...
To make sure closing right, turn until you get resistance on the seal, then push down and turn 1/8th of a turn to flush mount the cap.
Try Zanotti's...should be able to get cheaper than the local dealership!
