Default Softail handlebars

Hey all, I have a 2008 FXSTC. I believe the handlebars from factory are 10" apes. Anyway if I go to 16" I need +6" cables right. It should be that easy as far as figuring cabling. I realize I need to do harness work and brake line but no biggy there.

Definitely measure it. Especially if you're getting bars that can be internally wired. I almost ordered the wire extension kit that was too short when I changed my bars. Takes a bit more to run it through the handlebars than it does to just hang and go straight from point A to point B.
