the techmount is nice ... http://www.techmounts.com/index.php

i didnt see that when I put mine in. the only thing I like about the RAM is there is a custom bracket for each model. so your garmin snaps in and out easily. ie. take it with you when you leave the bike :-)

I don't know the brand. If you go to ebay motors and search item #'s 200190070315 (1") and
200190070315 (1 1/4") you can see what the guy sells. $24 and $29 plus shipping. The RAM mounts although probably more substantial were too big and too much black plastic for my taste. I only rode with it for a few hundred miles this fall before snow set in - had no issues with the unit staying on the mount. It is the same type of snap-in ball that the units use on a windshield or dash mount.

I got a Tom Tom One XL for Christmas, its not what I would have chosen for a bike but I have it and was also trying to figure out how to get it on my bike and found that there is a place called "ProClip USA" that makes mounts of all kinds, but not for bikes, go figure.
Anyway they do make a "mount adaptor" for your Novi 200, here is the web site, I tried to copy and paste the link to your Novi, but the link was so long it lookedrediculous. So you'll just have to go down the list to find it.

It looks like you can use that adaptor with one of the techmounts to get it on your bike. Here's a link to the handlebar mount page.

Only problem I have with them is that they cost an arm and a leg. $30 for the adaptor and another $70 or so for the mounting. Add in shipping and its a $125 or more just to getthe silly thing on my bike.

It may be a lot cheaper tosee if the local leather artistcan sew a holderto fit it into theleather pieceon the top of the tank. It won't be up on top of the handlebars where you can see it easy, but most will (mine does) "tell" you when, and what direction to turn. Mine will also play music off an SD card so maybe having it a bit closer for the ear phone wires may not be such a bad thing.
