We have an awesome chapter in Duluth, Mn. If it was'nt needed for joining my local chapter, I would'nt bother with national membership. Our state rally is always a blast. The more you get involved, the better it gets. I have friends that felt snubbed at one point as new members and never came back. I do my best now to welcome any new members or guests. I've met some really cool people and some dumb*sses in the group, but somehow we manage to get along. The group riding dynamic is too slow for me, but I ride too fast most of the time and it don't hurt me to slow down once in a while. I've been a chapter member since '97 and don't know why I did'nt opt for a life membership when they were cheaper. Now I gotta do the math and see if its worth while lol. We have a decent sponsoring dealership. They throw a couple of parties for us each year and don't charge any chapter dues.
