My Rocker C rolled in this morning. LOVE IT. I made it to dealer about 12:30 and hung out all day. I'll take possession tomorrow after mods. The wait.................is over.
I wish you critics would just let this guy enjoy his new bike. Harley didn't make the Rocker to please everyone and I give them credit for trying to lure in a younger customer. When you got your new Harley I'm sure you were excited and anxious to make it your own. Let DD enjoy his bike and give us his report as he figures it out. I for one commend the MoCo for trying to step outside the proverbial box and come up with a "factory custom". It may not be everyone's "cup o tea" but that's what makes America great. We can get what we want as long as we have the rubbles. So shut up critics and let this man enjoy his new bike as we all did.
Exactly my sentiments.
Enjoy your new ride. Must of been hell waiting for it, but Christmas did come early. Now the fun begins.
And if you have any intentions of putting bags on it, forget it. There's nothing back there to hange them from. Its going to take some new kind of bracketry that replaces the passneger seat setup or something like it. Good Luck
You made one mistake, Harley already makes saddle bags for it.
I don't have a clue how it bolts on though. Click here
Other than that, I pretty much agree with youCitor.
Guys your and my age are definately a big Custom fan vs the Rocker.
Tex,
I stand corrected, I should have figured that HD wouldn't pass up the chance to sell more goodies.
But I do wonder what they call "an attractive chrome support structure" actually lookslike when the bags are taken off.
As for being "Custom" fans. It probably has a lot to do with the fact that we're old enough to have "lusted" after the older EVO Customs. Well I know I did.
rockerheadsteve,
