74.55 hp and 87 torque on my 2007 fxstc.vance and hines 2into1 , sert , se air cleaner on a 96incher with 1000 miles

The reason you guys arnt seeing higher HP numbers on your bikes is because you have the stroked flywheel and connecting rods of a 103 motor with the jugs and heads of an 88" motor, thats how they make the TC96. Heads and jugs of an 88 with the flywheels and rods of a 103. With the extra stroke in your motors it takes more umph to get the piston up and down and it takes longer to do so, therefore you have lower HP numbers. Now with a longer stroke you have the by product of more torque, that is why your TQ numbers are so much higher than your HP numbers.
