I thought I'd post results of a 2" tank lift on a duece. I am 6'3" and put tall drag bars for comfort (chubby 507's) and brought the tank up to make the bars look better on the bike. I like the way the tank flows to the seat(s) and shows the motor a bit more. It should be better cooling for the summers in Arizona. Again just FYI...I tried to find someone on this forum who had done this but could'nt so here you go. Not a great picture...it's getting dark will try better ones tomorrow.
here is a pic of my softail I did about 2 years ago 3 inch lift cut out the thin metal ? in the frame to rerout the cross over tube thru easy mod just some 1/4 plate/ strap and some paint
