Well after much consideration, I decided I wanted a new exhaust. After looking and asking about the D&D fatcat and also considering V&H softail duals, I bit the bullet and bought the Softail duals from American Classic motors. I am well aware that the Fatcat is one of the best performing pipes there is but I think I wanted a more retro look for my Fatboy. I think its going to look really good with the fishtail tips and the bags I have. Now all I have to do is wait for them to show up. Ill post some pics when they are put on.
Anyone want to buy a Set of V&H Big Shot staggereds? They are in really good condition.
NICE CHOICE. I've been going back and forth with 2:1's and true duals for my Deluxe. I got a picture out of a mag that had the Deluxe with V&H duals. Looks really sweet and convinced me that's we I want. I'm sure yours will look the same.
I put the vh true duals on my 07 heritage in sept. I really like them but I am going to put the quiet baffles in this spring. Will give it deeper sound and improve low end torque. You will like them and they do look good.
I have the V&H true duels with the quiet baffles. Love the sound. I have attached a video of my deluxe with the V&H pipes. BTW it also has 203 cams and Terry's Terminal Velocity IIEFI. Enjoy! http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h5...nt=Luxe003.flv
05 HD Deluxe, I have an SERT, and had my BSS dyno tuned. I dont think I am going to be doing any changes to the ECM. I dont think the pipes will make a big enough of a difference to warrent a change, but if they do, Ill makea change if I have to.
I have heard the sound on videos and they sound pretty good. I bought them from American Classic motors on Ebay, anybody that has experiance with them, can you tell me how long it took to get parts? The thing I was really after is the look and with the way my Fatboy looks I think the dual pipes are going to look great. Now I just have to wait untill they get here.
