I just recently got a Metzeler ME880 200/50-18 for $163 from an indie here in town while he was running a tire sale. Cheapest I saw it online was $180.

I've been contemplating switching to Metzelers, tell me, those of you who ride on them, is the ride very different from the stock Harley Dunlops? Do the Metzelers last any longer or is it just the performance and handling that makes them popular?

Well for me they seem to handle better on rough surfaces and wet roads. I have 8K on this set and still have plenty left.

I can pick up a pair of Pirelli's for my FLSTF for $130. Has anybody ever run these tires, or heard anything about them??
