Nice bike. I was at the dealer yesterday and was checking out the Fat Bob, Street Bob and Night Train.I was down to these three and then I saw the Cross Bones in person. The dealer had taken off the stock spring seat and installedwhat looked to me to be a stock Night Train seat. What a difference this made looks and comfort wise. Anyways, just thoughtI would ask, what pipes are availiable out therefor the Cross Bones? I read through Vance & Hines (my preference) and did not see anything there listed for the Cross Bones as of yet. I didn't expect this since the bike only came out like 10 days ago.
The stock spring seat doesn't do anything for me, and I would agree that with that seat replaced, I think it would lokk f'n great!! The crossbones will be a badass bike to customize!

let's see a picture with the NT Seat, It did not look easy to cgange because of the front hinge, I guess it is not an issue.
bike looks great i just dont know about the big hunk of plastic under the seat. would it of been that hard to put a nice piece of stainless under there
I agree about the big piece of plastic under the seat. You don't expect to see a huge hunk of plastic on a Harley like you do the metric bikes. They should have spent the extra $30 per bike and had a metal pan under the seat. This is where Harley tries to cut corners because they know it will be a future upgrade for sure. Otherwise its a damn good looking bike. I love the front end and the front fender.
Zuma, whenI was at the dealer I took a good look at the bike and from what I saw, the plastic piece and seat come off as one unit. I also went to the HD site and I see that they have asolo seat will fit so I don't think it would be a big deal changing the seat. Dont forget, it's still a soft tail frame so I don't believe harleyretooled the line to fit just that spring seat. Anyway, that's what I'm going to do to it when I get it. I'm just wondering though, if Vance & Hines makes a pipe thet will fit it right now or do Ihave to wait. I would really like to put the long shots on it.
I saw one at my dealer this past Saturday, and I think I can say I found my next bike. I had always wanted a night train, then the street bobs kinda caught my eye.. but the Crossbones fits me perfect. I love em, and very nice.
