Good deal Flex
It goes to show the credibility of this forum. I never do
any major mods to my bike withoutdiscussing it on this
website first.
Crazy, you are exactly right...Any u can also bet on it that I will be at the dealer tomorrow to letthem take a look at this 180...You know the one they said I needed a wide tire kit for...So nice of the dealer to look out for my bank account like that..FIGURES!!!
Thanks, I'm curious to know because thats the tyre I wanna put on next, the 180 I got on now is only 168 at its widest.
Ratsmow,
I measured the tire the best I could and it is a lil difficult to get an exact measurment with how the projection of the tire is when mounted up but it appears to be about 177..Give or take a cpl at best..Hope this helps !!!
Flexx can you post a pic of the tire from the rear? I may go this route till I get the funds worked up for a Heartland Kit. The only thing I hate about my Deuce is the rear fender. Thanks

MT325,I will get a pic posted for you to see..I understand about the rear fender..It's not my favorite either and wished it was a fender similar to the Heartland Kit where it hugs the tire more..I have a custom paint job on it and not ready to drop the $ just yet getting another rear fender like that to match..
Hey all. I have been reading through this forum very carefully over the past few weeks. It is interesting to me how different each of use have experienced the various parts and the approach.
All I can say is that I am very, very particular about what I do with the bike. I just put the Dunlop SE 180 tire on my 2004 Deuce and it looks HOT. No big tire kit or adjustments were needed AT ALL! Don't waste your money on it, just find a good shop to do it if you don't trust yourself. I love it and it's a great interim step for me before I do the big fatty with some hot rims, etc.
