My thunderhaeder is deep, but loud. If you want a good performance pipe, stay with a 2:1. The D&D Fat Kat is suppose to be really good too and has a "quiet" baffle option if you ever decide to swap the standard one out.
I like the look of the Rhinehart 2:1 too, nice pipe.
I had a thunderheader on my '04 Deuce and loved it. Went with it again though.
grump, i have vh big radius on my deuce and they are loud and have great performance. my buddy has the 2 into 1 vh on his deuce and they produce a softer sound and 2 into 1 normally will perform better. vh will give you a louder raspy sounds and the reinharts will give you that lower deep rumble. once i get my bike back from getting a big bore kit i will post a clips of my exhaust for you.
I agree. Lot's of good suggestions in this thread. Here's mine with the Big Radius.
I put on V&H big shot staggerds and installed quiet baffles to tone down the noise a bit and also help lower end torque. I know 2 into one's perform a bit better but went with BSS for the looks I liked.
If I ever change my exhaust, because of it beingtoo loud, I would go with the Fat Cats with quiet baffle. The Fat Cat setup will still be loud enough, but no where near as loud as my present exhaust. The only reason I haven't already changed, is that my bike runs great with the exhaust I have now, so I am a bit hesitant to screw with it.
