Hey guys, I'm looking at buying a new exhaust for my 07 Deuce and would like to hear suggestions. I am leaning heavily towards a 2-1 setup and have it narrowed down to the Rinehart and the Vance and Hines. What do you guys think? I don't want it overly loud, just a nice solid sound. I know you guys have seen and heard a lot of setups and know a lot of the pros and cons of each, so, let me hear them (no pun intended there). Thanks in advance.
Reinhart exhaust is going to give you the most horses and that deep low rumble you're looking for. They cost a little more than Vance & hines. I got that info from Hot Bike magazine, a Harley Davidson enthusiast rag. If I had to do it all over again, I would still go with the V&H.
grump, i have vh big radius on my deuce and they are loud and have great performance. my buddy has the 2 into 1 vh on his deuce and they produce a softer sound and 2 into 1 normally will perform better. vh will give you a louder raspy sounds and the reinharts will give you that lower deep rumble. once i get my bike back from getting a big bore kit i will post a clips of my exhaust for you.
I just hung up a perfectly good set of Big Radius for a new set of Rineharts.
There is just something about those black caps and that Rinehart sound that just spells class..
Another good choice is anything from Paul Yaffe.
Ifyou weren't worried about losing performance, I like the look of either the Crack Pipes or the Phantom Pipe.
