Rick, you're pretty close. Don't know about the remap 'cause that's some of that new-fangled fool injection stuff! And be aware you'll probably lose some low-midrange torque. These things basically enable a motor to regain some of that lost torque caused by open pipes. When you remove the baffles from a well-designed set of pipes, then replace them with something like the thunder baffles, you will no regain all your losses.

Is it fair to say that you remove the baffles from your current pipes and then just replace them with the bigcity thunders? Also i heard that since in my case i have the stage1 and wont need to to remap?
Yes it takes about 5 minutes to put them. No idea about a remap. I avoid the FI stuff. I don't think they would make a big enough difference depending on the pipes to warrant it.

Fwiw,i called bigcity thunder and they told me it's basically removing the existing baffle and installing the new one.But none the less i would still have to drill holes. They have to be 3-4" from the end of the pipe for the best performance.I dont know if i want to drill into the brand new pipes.

How far are the bigshot baffles from the end of the pipe? I did it on Python Staggerds and it was about 3 or 4 inches I believe so no holes needed to be drilled.
