Way to go wifey!
I got my front chrome kit for my 06 Softail Deluxe off of Ebay from a HD dealer in New Mexico. Discounted on the Fatty doesn't sound right to me either.

Yeah, the guy at zanotti had no clue why they discontinued the 06 and older models, however it worked to my advantage b/c there was a part or two that I already have, so the bundle was less expensive for me.

I guess I'll pigey back on this thread. I just melted my saddle bag on my pipes and scraped them off with a knife and completely dulled the chrome on the pipes. Any way to fix besides re plating? I've read about spray on Chrome but I don't think a Mirror like chrome spray has been developed yet and also not to withstand that type of heat.
