The quick disconect coupling (EFI) on the underside of my tank leaks when disconnected. It's a pretty signifigant leak and can be messy. I'm sure this isn't right.
Is there a way to clean these? Maybe there's debris or something not allowing the collar to completely seal the coupling? Any ideas? Internal gasket bad?
Would I be off trying to fit it or just replace it?
When I took the tank off I could take a better look up inside the QD and found that the o-ring had become dislodged. Pushed it back into place with a small screwdriver and all is well.
Also, the QD coupling is attached to the fuel pump unside via a hose. To disassemble you'll have to open the tank and remove the clamp first.
